Blissful.

Austin and Ryli’s day was one for the books. With a 60% chance of rain at ceremony time for a completely outdoor wedding, this couple was all-in for whatever the weather brought, just as long as they were standing by each other’s side.

This wedding took place on Ryli’s grandparent’s land, featuring homemade wooden tables, tons of thrifted plates, and wildflowers/greenery from her family’s property. For dinner, their families smoked meat and provided sides. Is there anything better than a home-cooked meal?! This intimate wedding didn’t include many vendors, but it was truly one of the best weddings I’ve ever been part of. Why? This couple cared more about marriage than their wedding day. You might think to yourself, “Taylor! You’re a wedding planner. Why would you say that!?” Whether you spend $1,000 or $100,000 on your wedding day, the elegance or perfection of a wedding day pales in comparison to a marriage based on mutual love and sacrifice. Austin and Ryli care more about loving each other for every day of their lives than having the best wedding day. Truly, that’s what made their wedding day so perfect. Oh, and by the way, it didn’t even rain! Praise God.
